Her Story
Born in Buenos Aires, Argentina, Cut + Clarity founder Mariana Soledad Russo grew up surrounded by hard work, creativity, and an appreciation for meaningful pieces that last. After building a two-decade career creating jewelry collections for leading global brands and retailers, Mari set out to create something more personal of her own.
In 2017, Cut + Clarity was founded with the idea that fine jewelry should feel effortless, personal, and wearable every day, not just saved for special occasions.
Inspired by New York City’s Diamond District and the craftsmanship behind it, Mari created a brand centered around modern personalized gold jewelry made with care in NYC. Every piece is handmade in NYC by expert artisans, many of whom have worked for iconic houses like Tiffany & Co., Harry Winston, and Cartier.
Each design passes through the hands of multiple jewelers in New York City’s Diamond District, blending generations of craftsmanship with modern innovation.
